A company is billed only once a project is confirmed and both the quote and the contract have been signed. Shortlisting and introductions to freelancers are handled by zoulloo and are not billed. In line with our T&Cs, companies agree not to contract directly with freelancers introduced by zoulloo.

zoulloo supports you at every step to refine your brief and ensure efficient introductions to the best-suited freelancers. From your initial brief, we clarify objectives, identify key hard and soft skills and, where relevant, required tools.

We then formalise a detailed project pitch for your approval. Once validated, our matching technology identifies a shortlist of one to three freelancers who fit perfectly. They then submit a proposal via the platform so you can choose the talent you want to work with.

Through the casting sessions (selection interviews) organised by the zoulloo team, you speak with the freelancers who submitted proposals. Once you choose a freelancer and finalise the proposal, you confirm them for the assignment. The quote and contract are then sent to you and the freelancer for signature. The project can begin.

If a project is extended, the billing conditions remain the same as for the initial assignment: a commission, paid by the company, is applied to the freelancer’s remuneration. The extension is covered by a dedicated quote.

Yes, you can apply while working via an umbrella company. When you sign up, simply provide your umbrella company’s details so we can factor this into your assignments.

This means you receive 100% of the agreed rate for every assignment. We are committed to a transparent, fair model with no membership or subscription fees.

On zoulloo, assignments are not directly accessible on the platform. Firstly, for confidentiality reasons: even short or tactical assignments can require discretion. Secondly, for efficiency: by controlling the matching process through our technology and limiting the number of freelancers selected to submit a proposal, we save you valuable time. You avoid spending hours on proposals that have little chance of success.

You have the opportunity to speak directly with client companies when your profile is shortlisted as a potential match for an assignment. Based on zoulloo’s selection of freelancers who meet the client’s needs, the client chooses those they wish to meet through a casting session. This session is a 30 to 45-minute interview, depending on the nature of the assignment, organised by zoulloo and bringing together the client, the freelancer, and a member of the zoulloo team. The discussion allows you to go into detail about your skills, the project’s specific requirements, and all aspects related to the assignment. Alongside the casting, the freelancer and the client can also communicate via the platform regarding the proposal submitted by the freelancer.

As a freelancer, you are free to set your own daily rate for each assignment. Your rate is visible to clients within your proposal, and both you and the client are free to discuss and agree on the final amount. zoulloo does not intervene in these negotiations, ensuring full autonomy for both freelancers and companies to agree on the financial terms of the assignment.

Yes, as a freelancer, you are free to apply for several assignments at the same time. You manage your own schedule and workload, and you can respond to as many opportunities shared by zoulloo as you wish. However, it is important to avoid:

• Submitting proposals for projects that cannot realistically be carried out simultaneously.
• Working for competing companies at the same time.

Once you accept an assignment, you commit to completing it within the agreed timeframe and scope. Carefully assessing your availability helps ensure smooth management of all your ongoing assignments.

From the very start, you are supported by a Talent Agent throughout the entire process. As soon as you submit a proposal for an assignment, you are kept regularly informed of your application’s progress. The zoulloo team will contact you directly, and you’ll receive email notifications at every key stage, when your proposal is shared with the client, if the client wishes to organise a casting (selection interview), or when your profile and proposal are accepted for the assignment. This way, you stay fully informed at every step of your application journey.

Yes. zoulloo ensures the assignment runs smoothly for both client and freelancer and remains available for any questions. The execution of the work itself is the responsibility of the freelancer and the client.

A simple, transparent process:

• Each month the freelancer submits an activity report (days worked) and invoices zoulloo (including any agreed expenses).

• On receipt of client payment, zoulloo pays the freelancer within 5 business days.
